Although we only stayed at ETHER Marari Beach for 1 night, we can highly recommend this accommodation. The location with direct access to the beach and the well-kept beautiful grounds are unforgettable. The beach was very clean and practically ours... Maxon and the staff take excellent care of the guests. The food is very tasty and can be ordered directly at any time.
In the evening or in the morning you can walk along the beach and explore the beautiful area around the accommodation. You can meet fishermen, children playing and young people. For us, it was a very authentic and informal experience. A must: Bathing in the Arabian Sea at sunrise is an unforgettable experience.
Unfortunately we had to leave after 1 night, we would have liked to stay longer in this idyllic accommodation.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel, and the staff truly made the experience special. Everyone was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. They went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and happy throughout our stay.
A very special thank you to Nidhin, who looked after us so well. He was exceptionally kind, attentive, and genuinely caring — we honestly couldn’t have wished for a better staff member. His warmth and hospitality made a big difference and made us feel right at home.
The food was also very good and affordable. Overall, a fantastic stay, made memorable by the amazing staff. We would happily recommend this hotel and would love to return.

I had an amazing time at Ether Marari Beachfront.
The property is stunning — peaceful, beautifully designed, and surrounded by nature. The newly built rooms are spacious, modern, and thoughtfully equipped, offering the perfect mix of comfort and style.
The food was another highlight: fresh, delicious, and full of authentic Kerala flavours. Every meal felt like it was prepared with care.
But what truly made my stay special was the staff. They are warm, attentive, and incredibly welcoming. You can feel that they genuinely care about their guests’ wellbeing and experience.
Ether Marari is one of those places where you immediately feel at ease — calm, grounded, and well taken care of. I would return without hesitation. Highly recommended!

Our family of four stayed four nights in this beautiful place and truly loved every minute.
The rooms were stylish and we loved our outdoor bath! The gardens were beautifully landscaped and maintained and the pool a delight. The clubhouse common room with library shelf was a pleasant extra space and the terrace above and beyond perfect for wave watching. The food freshly prepared onsite was fantastic. Absolutely best of all were the staff, every single one delightful and beyond helpful. Maxon helped us arrange an amazing houseboat trip at short notice and recommended the nearby Coir Museum and arranged transport. Anisha arranged a local cookery class for us all which we loved. Nidhin and hospitality team were absolute treasures as were housekeeping, we were very sad to have to leave and will remember our stay with joy always.

We had a wonderful stay at Ether Marari. It felt like staying at a friend's home. The beachside location was perfect, and the beach clean and completely uncrowded. Our young daughter loved playing in the sand!
Food was great too, each meal prepared to order at the kitchen on the property. Consider bringing your own alcohol if you would like. I also want to thank Maxon for the excellent service, starting even before the stay with helpful directions and inquiring about meal preferences, and taking our daughter to the fish feeding spot. Big thank you to the chef as well who went out of his way to cook a special meal for our daughter!
All in all a wonderful, beachside homestay with everything you could want to relax and enjoy the beach!

If you’re looking for that rare unicorn, one that feels like a secluded secret but offers world-class amenities—you’ve found it. We stumbled upon this hidden gem just steps from the shoreline, and it’s easily one of the most refreshing stays we've had in years. The first thing you notice is the intricate landscaping. The interiors are strikingly modern and incredibly well thought out. Traveling with kids can be a gamble, but this property hits the jackpot. The Pool is an absolute showstopper. The kitchen here is top-tier. The staff deserves a standing ovation. They manage to be professional and attentive while maintaining a warm, laid-back coastal energy.

Our stay at Ether was exactly what we were hoping for. For starters a beautiful property that's right in front of the beach, it has a big cozy terrace spot with a direct view of the sea, cute and super neat cottages, a clean swimming pool, a well maintained garden and friendly staff who know to spoil you with yummy food. And if these are not reasons enough to make your stay memorable, the hosts Anisha and Sony will take care of that. They are super friendly and chill folks who are willing to share not only their space with you but also their interesting life stories that are enough to keep you talking all night.

Wonderful start to our Kerala trip. Communication with Maxon was excellent and super helpful arranging transport from the airport and during our stay. The decor and finish of our room (sea view apartment) was lovely, including an ace bathroom. The sea view from the room was perfect. Restaurant, garden, veranda and pool were all relaxing spaces to enjoy, as was the excellent beach and bath warm sea. Food was excellent and good value. Special mention to Gipson and Amal who looked after us - both charming and always on hand via WhatsApp. Thank you to all the team at Ether for looking after us and sharing this beautiful space.

Mesmerizing morning views that felt almost unreal—especially before coffee—set the tone for each day. The cozy rooftop sit-out quickly became my favorite spot to just be, doing absolutely nothing and loving every minute of it. There’s a charming little fence that leads straight to the beach, like something out of a movie scene. The entire place carries such calm, peaceful vibes that it makes you want to pause life for a while and just soak it all in. It’s the kind of stay that makes leaving genuinely hard. Recently had the pleasure of staying at ETHER. A random find on google maps, ended up having an amazing experience. My daughter wanted a beach front property and nothing better than this when it comes to location. Situated right on the beach, the property gives you mesmerising view of the ocean. The deck upstairs was my favourite. Overall a serene and peaceful atmosphere.
The kids enjoyed both the private jacuzzi pool and the common pool. Beautifully maintained property. The attention to detail given by Anisha and Sony is commendable.
The dining options are limited but delectable. Homely fresh food is cooked by a local lady and served in the living/dining area.
Anisha is an amazing host. We were welcomed with warm smiles and exceptional care and assistance whenever needed. My mother quickly bonded with her and they had heartful chats.
Overall, our stay was an unforgettable experience. Would definitely love to go there again.

What an amazing stay - thank you both so much! Hospitality was outstanding in every way.
You treated us like friends, yet we were guests. The whole stay was personalised to cater for our needs: one vegetarian / one meat/fish menu provided so that we could taste a variety of Keralan dishes. All food was fresh, tasty and authentic. You even taught us to eat Keralan style with our fingers!
Thank you for helping us prepare to go to a wedding by taking us shopping for a sari, arranging to have a blouse stitched and arranging transport from the airport and for our onward trip.
Perfect hosts, perfect stay and perfect facilities.

We had a terrific 5/5 experience staying at Ether beachfront during our recent family vacation! Would highly recommend it for a fun getaway with your family or friends.
Breathtaking views, cozy rooms and delectable Kerala cuisine straight from the Ether kitchen made our stay delightful! We also thoroughly enjoyed our fun conversations with the hosts (great company!). Kids had a blast in the plunge pool and outdoor pool.
Highlight of our visit was watching the beautiful sunset while soaking in the rumble of the waves. The sea was literally a stone’s throw away from the property!

Wer abseits vom Massentourismus Ruhe sucht und umsorgt werden will, ist hier richtig. Große Zimmer, aufmerksames Personal, großartiges und frisches Essen. Die Lage direkt am Strand ist perfekt. Die großen Ressorts sind weit weg und man hat den Strand für sich.

We had a wonderful stay at Ether Marari Beach Hotel! The staff were absolutely amazing – warm, attentive, and made us feel completely at home. The food was delicious, full of local flavours and fresh ingredients. The grounds and gardens are stunning – lush, peaceful, and beautifully maintained.
We especially loved the lovely roof terrace overlooking the sea — a perfect spot for morning coffee or sunset views. We were even lucky enough to spot dolphins from there, which made our stay extra special!
The sea was a bit too rough for swimming during our visit, and there’s not a lot else to do right around the area, but that made it an ideal, relaxing stop between exploring the backwaters. A perfect place to experience genuine Kerala hospitality in a beautiful, tranquil setting.
Big thank you to Max and Nidhin for looking after us, the lovely ladies and rest of the team - they really made us feel that we were staying at their home rather than a hotel. ❤️

ETHER Marari Beachfront was just perfect! Being steps from the beach meant we could pop over anytime, feeling the sand between our toes. The small size made it so cozy and intimate, like our own private retreat. The food? Absolutely excellent-every dish was a delight. The Max and his staff were incredibly helpful, always with a smile. My only regret? We didn't stay longer! Feeding the koi fish in the pond was such a fun touch. This place is a gem, and I'm already dreaming of coming back someday. The location near to the beach was perfect. The service provided by Sony, Anisha and all the other humans there was really really good. Their attitude and care was really nice too.
We went to celebrate our first anniversary, they arranged a beautiful surprise at 12 midnight for us ❤️
The food was great too. Clean rooms, plunge pool and main pool.
Overall I'll give a super 5 rating for this couple. Wishing to come back for another occasion and celebrate even more with you and your wonderful humans/place.

Ether is one of the best places that I have ever vacationed at in Kerala and at this point it is a home away from home, taking into account the countless time that I have stayed there with my family, friends and business associates. The Aesthetics, proximity to a nearly private beach, the lush greenery, and immaculately chic interiors of the resort gravitates me each time and makes it my go to vacation spot now! It also helps how close it is from kochi for a quick weekend getaway! The quaint setting, beautiful pool overlooking the ocean and the plunge pool in the pool villa is perfect for a romantic weekend! Best part- it’s pet friendly!!! Our fur baby loved running around the unending yard and digging on the beach! The food is top notch and the staff were extremely sweet and courteous!! Absolute value for money! The hosts Sony and Anisha made us feel so warm and at home! Absolutely recommend it for families, group of friends or a couple looking for a romantic getaway!

It’s on the beach. The beach is almost like a private beach.
The rooms were spacious and well appointed. The service was mind blowing.
Maxson, Gibson and Amal were really amazing in their service and went out of their way to make our stay special.
The food was brilliant. Everything we had was excellent. Overall an amazing experience and completely recommend.
The place is around 11 kms from Alapuzha town. But doesn’t matter. Go for it

We spent our anniversary here and was worth the visit. A well run quaint small property by Anisha & husband with lots of attention to details and a great service to boot for by the manager and staff. The chef, the boys and the manager Maxon really helps the guest feel at home. With a pvt plunge pool , a veranda bang beside the beach and a pool definitely beckons us to go back soon with kids . Thank you Anisha , Maxon & staff . Sole suggestion would be to price some of the food a bit more reasonably
